SUNDAY SUPPLEMENT: SEX TOYS – SARAH FORBES
There’s no room for taboos on this show. Join Sarah Forbes, sexual culturalist, and I as we explore the wonderful realm of SEX TOYS. From their humble beginnings centuries ago (really!), to the famous Rabbit and into the world of 21st century sextech – no stone is left unturned.
We discuss the benefits of sex toys in amping up your sex life alone & with a partner plus how to promote sex positivity within the home. As Sarah, former curator of NYC’s Museum of Sex, says “You have all kinds of accessories in your life. Why not have another that brings you pleasure?”
Dubbed a “sexpert supreme” by Cosmopolitan Magazine, for more than a decade Sarah Forbes served as the Curator of the Museum of Sex in New York, cultivating a wealth of experiences for her first book and memoir, “Sex in the Museum: My Unlikely Career At New York’s Most Provocative Museum.” With a graduate degree in Anthropology, her background emphasizes a socio-cultural-historical perspective on sex, exploring the tremendous variety and diversity that currently exists in the sexual landscape. A story teller through objects, Sarah has had the unique pleasure of being an “Indiana Jones” of sex. A curator, author, consultant, sexual culturalist and personal ethnographer, Sarah is currently working on my second book “Mama Sex.”
