RACE with Selwyn Jones – George Floyd’s Uncle

The events of 2020 have shown that the fight against racism and the struggle for equality are far from over. My guest today George Floyd’s uncle, Selwyn Jones, has a unique perspective on this topic. We explore how his life has changed since 25th May 2020 and how Selwyn and his family continue to grieve and move forward. Selwyn also shares his perspective on what’s next and the three ways we should all be working to create an anti-racist world.

Selwyn Jones grew up in North Carolina and now lives in South Dakota, where he owns and runs a motel in Gettysburg. He lives with his wife, mother in law and two young children. In his own words, the events of May 25th have made him determined to bring change in the world.
