Us ambitious working mothers are used to playing many different ROLEs and so is my guest, Julie Peasgood. Known best for her roles in Brookside, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks. She has a prestigious career portfolio, including TV presenting and producing, writing and as an events host – and more! Julie Peasgood has a multi-faceted career as an accomplished actress, TV presenter and producer, an award-winning writer and events host. Her career spans over 40 years of prestigious theatre and television, but she is probably best known for her roles in Brookside, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks. 

A veteran of over 80 cruises, Julie is Contributing Editor for Cruise International magazine and writes about travel and lifestyle for the Mail on Sunday. She has regular monthly columns in Group Leisure and Travel and Crafts Beautiful magazines, the latter featuring her newest business venture Supercrafts at Sea. 

Julie is also one of the country’s leading voice-over artists and has received the Royal Television Society’s prestigious Television Personality of the Year award. She famously put the pop into Birds Eye Peas and set a record as the slowest ever contestant on Celebrity Total Wipeout.
