Guilt is a pervasive experience for many mothers – including feeling guilty for not feeling guilty as a mother. The NOISE is loud on this one, and it keeps us trapped in the narrative of being selfless as we bend over backwards, attempting to live up to being ‘good and perfect’ mothers.

Guilt shows up in so many different ways about a host of ‘areas’ – we may not realise that how we’re behaving or responding to something is being led by feelings of guilt.
